The whole concept for the LZ World Tour came about when we first visited Ireland’s Mondello Park in 2022 for the original LZ Festival. Then in 2023 we headed back to the Irish circuit for an epic LZ World Tour adventure, but now in 2024, we’re aiming to pull of the biggest and wildest LZ World Tour event yet … and we’re going to do just that!
With the *persuasion of some dodgy hackers* … we’ve been forced to throw caution to the wind and switch things up to add in some things you never thought you’d see at the LZ World Tour. Think a Top 24 competition, featuring 24 incredible drivers from all over the World, where those very drivers will have only one Qualifying run to show what they’re made of and decide their place in the battles. Then, and we can’t believe we’re saying this, but if the judges decide a battle needs to go one more time, it gets decided in a second battle that has to be driven in near-standard IS200s. WHAT?!
Oh and as if all of that wasn’t enough action for a weekend, we’re throwing in some insane crew-on-crew battles, our wild ‘Star in a Reasonably Priced NASCAR’ segment, epic demo displays like James Deane’s 4-Rotor RX7 and D-Mac’s Audi Quattro drift car to name but a few, a backwards entry competition and even a “Kings of the Rings” competition too, all of which will run alongside the BIGGEST car show we’ve ever attempted to pull off, with over 700 cars descending on Mondello Park! Please Note: Tickets for this event MUST be pre-purchased online and will NOT be available at the gate. Admission tickets for kids 0-7 are free, but kids 0-7 wishing to sit in the grandstand must have a valid kids 0-7 grandstand seating ticket. Kida aged 8-15 can avail of discounted standing & seating ticket options. Persons aged 16 and above must purchase tickets ad adults prices. The paddock and drivers area will be closed to the general public at all times. There is no public meet & greet session at this event. Only VIP ticket-holders will have a guaranteed meet & greet with their chosen VIP ticket group.
